Bam Bormet Barrier MCS58
Access control for wide entrances up to 10.2 meters — built for intensive use
The MCS58 is a powerful, custom-built boom barrier designed for high-traffic environments such as staff car parks, pay parking or logistics zones. With a barrier arm range of 2 to 10.2 meters and opening speeds between 4.2 and 8.2 seconds, it provides smooth operation and high reliability. Optional skirts and accessories are available, with mounting possible on the left, right or centre.
The built-in FEIG frequency-controlled microcontroller ensures precise movement and easy integration with building management systems. Add the optional heating mat to guarantee operation down to -30°C.

Also available in a Heavy Duty version
For harsh environments with strong winds, frost, or snowfall, the MCS58 is also available in a Heavy Duty version. This model includes a reinforced arm holder, a more powerful motor with duplex chain, and is designed to operate without a slip clutch — allowing stable performance in extreme conditions. No tension cables are needed, and the unit can mechanically support up to 10 kg at the arm’s end in the closed position. Opening speed: ±10 seconds.
