Robust boom barrier up to 15 meters — ideal for ports, industry and highways

The MCS61 is a heavy-duty automatic boom barrier designed for demanding environments and wide entrances. With a configurable barrier arm from 2 to 15 meters and an adjustable opening speed between 8.5 and 12 seconds, this model is ideal for high-traffic infrastructure such as ports, industrial zones and highways. Built with reinforced components, the MCS61 offers long-term reliability under pressure.

The MCS61 housing is made of 3 mm steel with internal reinforcements up to 15 mm. A frequency-controlled drive ensures smooth motion, and the built-in microcontroller allows easy integration with building automation systems. Additional accessories include LED lighting, heating, loop detectors and more. A heating mat can extend the operating temperature down to -30°C.

For environments with harsh weather conditions — such as strong winds, frost or heavy snow — the MCS61 is available in a Heavy Duty version. This variant features a reinforced arm holder, more powerful motor, and supports up to 10 kg of static load at the tip of the arm. It also operates without tension cables (up to 12 m) and without a slip clutch, maintaining consistent movement even under stress. Central mounting only, up to 15 m with tension cables.
